A wardrobe is like a room in itself, giving us ample storage space and allowing us to bring some order to our everyday belongings in a way that other furniture can't. There aren't many things more satisfying than opening up our wardrobe and viewing the garments we have collected over the years, carefully choosing which particular outfit we will wear. Shoes, shirts, suits and coats all have a home within the confines of this important space, and the lower reaches of our wardrobes offer much needed resting places for items which don't always see the light of day - such as boxes of family mementos and souvenirs.
